Preventing hate speech and incitement to violence

To undertake appropriate measures including legislative measures to prevent incitement to violence, hatred, sectarianism and other forms of incitement which lead to the violation of internationally protected human rights, irrespective of whether the source is public or private.

As well as the HMB (see above) policing content that may incite hatred, sectarianism and violence, GoB is considering with international experts proposals for a new law, based on Article 20 of the ICCPR, on preventing incitement to violence, hatred and sectarianism.
